It seems like the United Arab Emirates national football team has found their new head coach.
According to different sources, the UAE brass will unveil their new coach to help the national squad move forward.
Alberto Zaccheroni vacated the spot as the AFC Asian Cup 2019 wrapped up. He led the team to the semi-finals as hosts but revealed he would be stepping down as his current contract does not extend beyond the competition.

Social media outlets reveal that Bert van Marwijk and Herve Renard are the two front-runners for the position.
The Dutchman, van Marwijk has been a coach since 1998 when he took over at Fortuna Sittard.
He would go on to coach teams like Feyenoord, Borussia Dortmund and Hamburger SV.
The 66-year-old also has extensive experience in international level as he’s coached the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and, most recently, Australia.
Meanwhile, the Frenchman Renard is 50 years old but has been coaching roughly around the same time – starting in 1999.
He has coached various teams with Vietnamese club Song Da Nam Dinh as one and is currently the coach for Morocco.
