FA Cup weekend predictions

West Brom v West Ham

Both sides are in decent form – West Brom have only lost one of their last eight games, and for West Ham it is one defeat in nine.
On Wednesday, West Brom beat Swansea 2-0 in the League and they will be tough to beat at home. This will be a close one to call but the home side will prevail.
Prediction: West Brom 1-0 West Ham

Blackburn v Stoke

Blackburn have had a very average season in the Championship and have not won back-to-back since November and look unlikely to reach a play-off place.
Stoke have looked good at times this season and are 10th on the Premiership table. Stoke will take this one.
Prediction: Blackburn 1-3 Stoke

Derby v Reading

Derby are third on the table, in great form, and going for automatic promotion to the Premier League. They are up against a Reading side that have hung around near the bottom half of the table so far this season.
This should be a Derby win all the way.
Prediction: Derby 3-0 Reading

Crystal Palace v Liverpool

Palace started the season well but seem to have lost their intensity while for Liverpool the opposite can be said with them playing great football since just before the Xmas break.
With Daniel Sturridge back along with their recent 3-2 win against Tottenham one must go with Liverpool to win this one.
Prediction: Palace 1-2 Liverpool

Aston Villa v Leicester

A managerless Villa are struggling in the League, third from bottom, just like their opponents who are battling at the bottom of the log.
This is one of these matches that could go either way as very little is separating the teams, but Villa will pull this one out of the fire.
Prediction: Villa 2-1 Leicester

Bradford v Sunderland

Sunderland had a really poor result against QPR on Tuesday losing 2-0 and will be desperate to win or either get a draw to get a home replay.
Bradford have done well to get this far in the Cup and are 8th on the League One table, they could very well cause an upset and get this one.
Prediction: Bradford 2-1 Sunderland

Arsenal v Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough have impressed in the Championship and are unbeaten in 10 games and are top of the log, having also beaten Manchester City in the 4th round of the Cup.
Arsenal may have slipped up against Tottenham last weekend but have been in great form for sometime and being at home should have too much firepower for Boro.
Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Middlesbrough

Preston v Manchester United

United's recent form is amazing as they have not really played that well in lots of games but they keep on getting wins.
Preston are fourth on the League One table but will struggle to beat a United side that are chasing silverware. United should win this.
Prediction: Preston 1-3 Manchester United
