Roda JC technical director Harm van Veldhoven admits they are pleased to have acquired highly-rated forward Jorn Vancamp on a season-long loan.
The 18-year-old arrived in the Netherlands on Wednesday to complete the temporary switch from Belgian giants Anderlecht, in a bid to gain first-team experience.
After making his first-team debut for RSCA last season, much was expected of Vancamp, but the Belgium youth international struggled to break into Rene Weiler's starting XI and the club decided his progression will be best served by going out on loan.
"Vancamp is a great Belgian talent," Van Veldhoven told the club's official website. "Jorn is extremely dangerous in the penalty box area and boasts a huge work ethic which he can use to make it very difficult for every defence."
De Koempels will be looking to improve on their 17th-placed finish in the Eredivisie last term with the renewed optimism of five off-season signings.
