Brad Jones is delighted to have signed a new deal with Eredivisie Champions Feyenoord.
The 35-year-old Australian goalkeeper, who has previously played for Middlesbrough, Liverpool, Bradford City and NEC, along with a number of loan spells, joined the club in July 2016.
He was signed on a free following an injury to Kenneth Vermeer but retained his place for the duration of the season.
Jones kept 17 clean sheets as the club claimed its first league title in 18 years, and was subsequently rewarded with a new two-year deal.
And he revealed his excitement at a new deal on his Instagram account.
He wrote: "Perfect way to end a perfect season.
“Happy to say I have signed a new contract to stay at this amazing club for two more years.”
Feyenoord director Martin van Geel added on the clubs website, “We are very pleased that we have kept Brad at Feyenoord.
"He has had a very strong season with a lot of clean sheets and has thus played an important part in the championship.”
