Neymar and PSG enjoyed another fruitful night in the Champions League on Wednesday night, as a devastating display of attacking football saw them run out 4-0 winners at Anderlecht.
The Brazilian star, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe were on fire as they tore the Belgian side to shreds, grabbing a goal each as Unai Emery’s side completed another Champions League rout. Angel di Maria hit the fourth.
Mbappe opened the scoring with PSG’s first attack of the game, and Cavani headed the second just before half time, but it was Neymar’s goal that was the pick of the bunch.
Awarded a free-kick just outside the area, and having decided who was going to take it without a fight. Neymar stood over the ball.
But instead of curling it into the top corner like everyone expected, the 25-year old hit it along the ground and under the wall as the Anderlecht players jumped.
It was a moment of pure class!
