While Lopetegui was pleased about the victory – which shocked many pundits and fans – he admitted that his side will find it a lot tougher to beat Bayern in the second leg at the German outfit's home ground, the Allianz Arena.
To make matters even trickier, Porto will be without defenders Alex Sandro and Danilo who are suspended.
"Bayern played a great game, but we got a fair result which was the victory," he said after the game. "We are without Danilo and Alex and we need to be well-prepared for this situation."
Meanwhile, midfielder Ricardo Quaresma was delighted to have scored twice against Bayern and is hoping to do the same during the second leg.
"We're proud of the victory and of the great game we played," he said. "Nothing is won however, and for me, Bayern is one of the best teams in the world.
"I always want to score a goal, I always think about it. I only had eyes for the goal. As soon as I stole the ball, I only saw the goal in front of me."
