Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho believes his team’s ability to cope with difficult situations will be crucial throughout the season.
The Red Devils ground out a tough 1-0 victory against Southampton last weekend and now prepare to take on CSKA Moscow in Russia on Wednesday night for a Champions League group-stage clash.
Despite their dominance so far this season, Mourinho believes his players need to be ready for the games when they are up against it and have to dig deep to get the result.

“We try to play well but, in some moments of the match, if the opponent has moments of superiority, we have to be humble like we were against Southampton,” Mourinho told a press conference ahead of the CSKA tie.
“We have to cope with the difficult moments of the game.
“I think it’s a mixture of our quality, and being dominant like we always want to be, and accepting the reality of high-level football that, when the opponent has a strong moment, you have to cope with it.”
He added: “We cannot guarantee this line of success but the way to try to keep it is to do what we are doing.”
