Alexander-Arnold: Liverpool will improve finishing

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold believes the team is improving and that their inability to convert chances against Spartak Moscow is not a concern.

The Reds created a number of opportunities on Tuesday night in the Champions League group-stage clash with Spartak but were held to a 1-1 draw in the end.

Alexander-Arnold admits it was a disappointing result for Jurgen Klopp's charges, but remains optimistic about their season going forward.

“Each game, we’re getting better and stronger – you can see that in our performances,” he told the club's official website.

“It’s just the goals that are missing at the moment but with time they’ll come and we’ll get better and better.

“We created a lot more chances than they did and had a lot more shots. We just couldn’t get that second goal. We’re disappointed going home.”
