OGC Nice manager Lucien Favre is preparing for Wednesday’s Champions League qualifier away to Napoli.
The French side have already overcome Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam in the third qualifying round, but the Swiss coach expects the Italian club to be a tougher opponent.
“This game is going to be particularly hard against a great team who are much stronger than Ajax,” Favre said.
“We’ve watched a lot of their games and seen how they keep possession and how quick they are. It’s not going to be easy.”
Nice enter the match after back-to-back defeats in their opening two Ligue 1 matches and will be without their two most recognisable names: Mario Balotelli and Wesley Sneijder.
“We don’t want to take any risks on Mario,” Favre added. “I’m worried he might suffer a setback, while Sneijder’s not done all of pre-season and still needs to work individually. Sadly they are both unavailable.”
