Porto star issues open challenge to Liverpool superstars Mane, Firmino and Salah ahead of Champions League clash

Porto take on Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals soon, and the stakes couldn’t be higher for both clubs.

Liverpool are looking to go one better than last season when they were beaten in the final by Real Madrid, while Porto are planning to play party poopers as they give their best shot against Jurgen Klopp’s men.

It won’t be easy for the Portuguese side however, especially with the dangerous front three of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino all in their best form.

But that isn’t a worry for one particular Porto player in Danilo Pereira. The defensive midfielder is relishing the challenge of facing the Liverpool trio, and had special words when asked about them.

“They will not pass me by!” Danilo said, as was reported by Record.

“That’s what I think and I give my all the best.”

Porto will surely have their work cut out as one of the least favourites to progress beyond the last eight, but with the confidence high, anything is possible.
