The UEFA Champions League 2018/19 quarterfinal draw was recently made and we have some intriguing fixtures lined up for the rest of Europe’s premier club competition.
While Juventus were handed a relatively easier path to the semifinal of the Champions League, Barcelona were pitted against Manchester United. While many would think that this might be a tricky fixture for Barcelona and Lionel Messi, a stat suggests otherwise.
The Argentine talisman usually brings out his best against the English clubs in the Champions League and a stat only confirms it. Messi has as many as 22 UCL goals against English sides, which is the most by any player in the competition.
