Batshuayi happier at Dortmund but coy on future

Batshuayi Borussia Dortmund

On-loan Borussia Dortmund striker Michy Batshuayi has given nothing away regarding his future, but he is happier at Signal Iduna Park than he was at Chelsea.

The Belgian has scored six goals in seven Bundesliga appearances since making his loan move from the Blues on Deadline Day, restoring his confidence after he fell out of favour at Stamford Bridge.

"Don't ask me about my future," said Batshuayi, who is reportedly wanted by Dortmund on a permanent basis. "I had a difficult time and it's good to be back on track."

Commenting on what has changed since his time at Chelsea, the striker avoided directly taking aim at the London club. However, he suggested that he is treated better in Germany than he was there.

"I was very well received by Dortmund, by the whole club. I felt a lot of love. A footballer is stronger when he has confidence," said Batshuayi.

"I didn't expect to find my efficiency so quickly. This is the real Michy, but I still want more.

"The fans are unbelievable and the stadium is beautiful. I really never expected to settle so quickly."
