FC Bayern Munchen midfielder James Rodriguez says he wants to stay at the Bundesliga champions for many years to come and help them win many more titles.
The 26-year-old joined Bayern on loan from Real Madrid in pre-season and is due to return to the Santiago Bernabeu in June 2019. However, Rodriguez is keen to stay at Bayern for the foreseeable future.
“I think Munich is a beautiful city, the club is great and I would like to stay here for many years,” the Colombia international was quoted as saying by the club’s official website.
When asked about which competitions he wants to win with Bayern, he added: “The Bundesliga, the [DFB] Cup, and why not the Champions League too!
“I feel great here at the moment and you can see that reflected out on the pitch. Most of the things I try to do work out. Obviously that has a lot to do with the fact that I’ve played a lot recently. I just want to play my part in helping Bayern win.”
James has made 10 Bundesliga appearances this season, scoring two goals, while also playing in six Champions League ties.
