Bayern put five past minnows in DFB-Pokal

FC Bayern München had no troubles seeing off 3. Liga side Chemnitzer FC 5-0 in their DFB-Pokal first round clash on Saturday.

Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring at the community4you ARENA on 20 minutes before adding a second on 60 minutes, after Kingsley Coman had netted Bayern’s second on 51 minutes.

The goals kept coming as Franck Ribery added a fourth on 79 minutes, while Matts Hummels rounded off the scoring on 89 minutes.

Borussia Dortmund, meanwhile, put four past Rielasingen-Arlen to no reply, at the Schwarzwald-Stadion.

The Bundesliga side easily saw off their Verbandsliga Südbaden opponents, with Marc Bartra on target on 12 minutes, ahead of a 41st minute Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang penalty, who then added a third on 55 minutes. The Gabonese striker grabbed his hat-trick with a third goal on 80 minutes.
