The news comes after the Bayern medical team determined that Ribery needs to rest his ankle for two more weeks before having any chance of making his comeback.
Ribery sustained his ankle injury during Bayern's 7-0 thrashing of Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on March 11 and has not played since then.
"I am very sad. It's just annoying, because back in March I was in great form, felt fit and wanted to achieve great things," Ribery told Kicker. "I worked so hard for an early comeback, but the ankle just did not get better. It sucks!"
In addition to league action, Ribery will also miss the second leg of Bayern's Champions League semi-final clash against Barcelona next week. Bayern face an uphill battle to reach the final after they were beaten 3-0 in the first leg on Wednesday.
