Tuchel wary of Darmstadt upset

BVB Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel is keen to avoid an upset when his side hosts an in-form Darmstadt at the Westfalenstadion on Sunday.

Die Borussen have been in outstanding form to start the season and remain unbeaten in the league, despite seeing their 100 per cent record ended by a draw against TSG Hoffenheim in midweek.

The newly-promoted Darmstadt, meanwhile, have impressed thus far having lost just one of their first six Bundesliga outings this season.

"There is a crazy success story taking place at Darmstadt. It's the result of an extraordinary team spirit," Tuchel said at his pre-match press conference.

"There is a distinct willingness to give absolutely everything for the team. There are no egos there.

"They have built on the euphoria and momentum of the last two years and are now an outsider capable of upsetting the big boys. They have the means to. That can happen in football over 90 minutes."
