Indian outfit Bengaluru are through to the AFC Cup inter-zone final after a 0-0 draw with DPR Korea’s 4.25 SC on Wednesday saw them progress 3-0 on aggregate.
Bengaluru were always favourites to progress from the inter-zone semi-final, having done the hard work three weeks ago in the first leg on home soil.
On that occasion, they had claimed a comfortable win courtesy of goals by Sunil Chhetri, Udanta Singh and Lenny Rodrigues to put themselves firmly in control of proceedings.

4.25 would have still entered Wednesday’s second leg at the Rungrado 1st of May Stadium hopeful of mounting a fightback.
Nonetheless, they were just unable to find their way past an organised Bengaluru outfit, who did enough to get the result they needed to progress.
Bengaluru will now face off against Tajikistan’s FC Istiklol for a place in the AFC Cup final.
