Vietnamese club Becamex Binh Duong FC will welcome Myanmar National League outfit Shan United to the Go Dau Stadium in Thu Dau Mot on Matchday 4 of the AFC Cup 2019 on Tuesday.
The fixture in Group G of the continental championship is the only ASEAN Zone match to be played on April 16 and is important for either of the two teams in their own ways.
Becamex are currently third in the group with four points from their first three matches — they are level on points with Indonesia Liga 1 champions Persija Jakarta, but already five points behind group leaders Ceres-Negros FC of Philippines.
Only a win against Shan United will bolster their hopes of making it out of the group stages of the AFC Cup 2019. However, the Myanmar outfit will not be an easy hurdle for the V.League club.
Shan have had a great start to the domestic season back home, but have struggled to recreate their dominance in the AFC Cup. They are yet to collect a point in the group stages going down to all three teams in the first set of fixtures, but by narrow margins.
When to watch?
