AFC Champions League matchday three came to a close with some stunning matches, some chock results, and some brilliant goals. Several big players pitched in with goal contributions, including Xavi, Anderson Talisca, and Safawi Rasid. Here are five of the best strikes from this week.
Top 5 Goals – AFC Champions League 2019 Matchday Three
A lot of brilliant goals were scored during matchday three of the 2019 AFC Champions League. However, when it comes down to shortlisting the strikes, the ones shown in the above video were simply the best.
Al Sadd star Xavi rolled back the years with two spectacular strikers in the match against Pakhtakor. His first one was, however, pure class. The ex-Barcelona star received the ball to curl it past the goalkeeper in one go.
Following in Xavi’s footsteps, Anderson Talisca came up with a curling strike of his own, even more aesthetically pleasing than that of the legendary Spaniard. However, even Talisca was outdone in the end by Johor Darul Ta’zim forward Safawi Rasid, who finds himself number two on our list.
The number one spot goes to Khodjiakbar Alidjanov, whose long-range volley stood out in a match which saw two Xavi masterpieces.
With the kind of goals already scored in the 2019 AFC Champions League, we can’t wait to find out what more is in store.
