Bielsa wanted in Japan

The experienced Bielsa was in charge of Argentina from 1998 until 2004, winning the gold medal at the Olympic Games 11 years ago.

After being away from football for three years, Bielsa returned to guide Chile to the World Cup 2010 finals.

He is now in charge at Ligue 1 title-chasers Marseille.

According to media reports, Japan’s JFA have been making enquiries over the availability of the Argentine coach.

Marseille are in a three-way tussle for Ligue 1 glory with Lyon and Paris Saint-Germain and it looks unlikely that Bielsa would ever leave the rich French club.
