Having previously coached the Korea Republic national team, Gama feels that he is well placed to launch a tactical attack against Seongnam.
“We are ready for this match even though we faced a tough match as away team with Muangthong United last week,” Gama told the official AFC website.
“I have studied Seongnam FC’s performance because I had an experience in working in Korea for many years. We are sure that we will win this game.”
Buriram booked their place in this year's competition after winning the 2014 Premier League title, and having failed to qualify for the group stages last season, they will be looking to make the most of their chance this time around.
Gama's charges are pooled in Group F with Seongnam, J-league side Gamba Osaka and Chinese outfit Guangzhou R&F.
