Jeonbuk dominated the first-half of the Group E fixture and took the lead after 21 minutes as Brazilian forward Edu superbly chipped Shandong goalkeeper Wang Dalei from 25-yards.
But Shandong got a goal back a minute after the hour mark as Zhang Wenzhao was able to pass the ball to Yang who hammered a first-time strike across Jeonbuk goalkeeper Kwoun Sun-tae and into the far corner.
In the 71st minute Jeonbuk scored as Han fired through the legs of Wang from inside the area as Shandong allowed Lee to head across the face of goal to set up the Korea Republic international.
Jeonbuk added a third five minutes later when Wang palmed away Leonardo’s corner but Lee was on hand to fire a first-time shot into the top corner.
The visitors sealed the win in stoppage time as Leonardo fired high past Wang to make the score 4-1.
