Veteran striker Michael N’Dri turned up the heat with a brace in the 21st and 41st minute to give the Silver Shields Dragons a two-goal cushion

There was a glimmer of hope for Chainat when Nattapon Tep-uthai pulled one back three minutes into the second half.

The Hornbills poured forward in search of an equalizer and that left plenty of space down the other end.

It was left to Aung Thu to exploit Chainat’s high defensive line and the Myanmar star did not disappoint by scorching the net in the 69 minute.

There were no further goals as Police Tero’s bench ran onto the pitch to celebrate a well-deserved first three points of the year.

Police Tero now sit in 14th spot while Chainat are stuck in the relegation zone with only a single point to show for after five attempts.
