Tariq grabs the winner as Iraq beat DRC

Human Tariq's second half goal gave Iraq a well-deserved 2-1 victory over the Democratic Republic of Congo in Sharjah on Saturday.

Yaser Kasim started on the bench and watched on as Ahmed Ibrahim opened the scoring for the Gulf side.

Their celebrations were short-lived, though, as the visitors were awarded a penalty for a foul inside the box and Paul-Jose M'Poku made no mistake from the spot to level matters at 1-1.

Kasim entered the fray and with the hosts continuing attack in search of a winner, the Swindon Town midfielder looked on as Tariq grabbed a 71st minute winner.
