The attack came when Fenerbahce were on their way to the airport following their 5-1 away win over Caykur Rizespor.
In addition to posting photos of the attack on their website, Fenerbahce revealed that only the bus driver was wounded and added that all the players arrived at the airport safely.
"We consider that as long as this attack is not solved in a way that satisfies Fenerbahce and public opinion, a suspension of the championship is inevitable," a statement on the club's website said. "Blood ran and football was silenced. Finding and punishing the culprits is of vital importance for Fenerbahce."
Meanwhile, Fenerbahce midfielder Mehmet Topal was visibly shaken when he spoke about the terrifying incident.
"We cheated death," he told Sky News. "God protect us. I hope our driver will be all right. Words fail me. It's unbelievable."
