Abass Cheikh Dieng scored a stoppage time goal to earn Becamex Binh Duong a 1-1 draw with leaders Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in their AFC Champions League Group E match played at the Binh Duong Stadium.
Binh Duong started the better of the two teams and had their first shot at goal in the second minute, but Moses Oloya's 20-yard drive went just past Hong Jung-nam in the Korean side's goal.
Thereafter, the K-League champions then gained the ascendancy through their domination of possession, but were unable to turn their superiority into a goal.
Their efforts were rewarded in the 28th minute when Eninho's inswinging corner bamboozled Nguyen Quoc Thien Esele in the Vietnamese side's goal and flew into the back of the net.
The hosts were reinvigorated after the break and nearly equalized 10 minutes after the half-time interval when captain Nguyen Anh Duc's effort from just inside the box clattered off the cross bar to safety.
The Koreans remained a threat on the break and nearly scored twice in quick succession with 10 minutes remaining on the clock when first Kim Dong-chan hit the woodwork and then Brazilian forward Edu's effort rebounded off the cross bar.
To their credit, the Nguyen Thanh Son's side continued to attack and in the 90th minute nearly equalised when Ganiyu Oseni played in Oloya, but he was unable to beat Hong.
However, seconds before the final whistle went, Dieng found himself unmarked just outside the box and smashed in a dramatic equaliser from 20 yards to send the Vietnamese fans in the stand into delirium.
