Full report

It was a tight opening to the match with few chances being created as a goal came virtually out of nowhere when Santos Junior headed in Yeom Ki-Hun's cross from a corner in the 15th minute.

Goulart then came close to an equaliser moments later but his attempt went wide from Paulinho's pass in the 20th minute. Yet, the leveller would come in the 24th minute when Liao Lisheng's headed pass found Goulart, and he fired home into the top corner.

However, Johnathan would restore Suwon's lead in the 32nd minute as he converted smartly from Yeom Ki-Hun's corner. He nearly made it 3-1 just four minutes later but Zeng Cheng got down well to his left to make the save. The Brazilian would then hit the bar with a 40th minute header.

After the break, Alan saw his header saved as Evergrande chased an equaliser. It was proving to be a game with plenty of action and Ki-Hun had an effort saved in the top right corner in the 58th minute.

Nonetheless, the Southern China Tigers would find an equaliser with just under 10 minutes to go when Allan fired home into the top corner in the 81st minute. Paulinho and Goulart both had shots at goal in the final stages but both were dealt with by Shin Hwa-yong.
