Thailand to join hosts China PR, Korea Republic and New Zealand for Panda Cup 2019

Thailand will join hosts China PR, Korea Korea Republic and New Zealand to participate in the Panda Cup 2019 U-19 football tournament to be held from May 23 to 30.

The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) confirmed that it has received an invitation from the Chinese Football Association (CFA) to take part in the U-19 tournament to be held at Chengdu in Sichuan Province of China.

It also said that it had decided to send the U-19 national team for the tournament which will see the four teams facing each other once. The team with the most points after three matches will be crowned the winners.

The Changsuek U-19s are currently undergoing a training camp in Thailand which will last till April 26. They will also undergo camps between May 6-8 and May 14-23 before a 20-member squad will be shortlisted for the Panda Cup.
