Thailand National Team star Chanathip Songkrasin has been a revelation for Consadole Sapporo ever since his move back in 2017. And he was at his best again when his side faced Yokohama F Marinos in a mid-table clash.
Chanathip opened the scoring in the fourth minute of the match, after being played through superbly by Anderson Lopes. Lopes, meanwhile, added a goal of his own later on in the match to make it three nil in favour of Consadole. Defender Akito Fukumuri was also amongst the scorers on the night.
For his performance on the night, the Thai national team star was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the match award.
