Motherwell defender Tom Aldred could be on his way to India if reports in the English media are to be believed. Two of the Indian Super League clubs have shown interest in the former Watford defender.
The defender, currently on loan at Motherwell from Bury, will see his contract run through at the end of this season and is looking for potential suitors. And according to reports in The Sun, the 28-year-old could be on the move to ISL with Kerala Blasters and Mumbai City FC interested in him.
Aldred, who has represented Watford in the past as well, is believed to be swayed by the wages on offer in India and thus might decide against extending his contract with the League Two side. He has spent almost 10 years playing in various levels of the English club football system and would be a good signing for either of the ISL sides.
However, it remains to be seen whether Aldred decides to move to the ISL or stays in England.
