De Bruyne: City need Silva and Aguero

Midfielder Kevin de Bruyne says Manchester City need David Silva and Sergio Aguero back from injury as soon as possible.

Silva has missed City's last seven games with an ankle injury, while Aguero last played in the 6-1 demolishing of Newcastle at the start of last month.

And De Bruyne hailed the quality of his Spain international teammate and believes table-topping City will be much stronger when the duo, and Samir Nasri, return from injury.

"On the ball [Silva] is amazing," the Belgium international told the club's official website.

"He can do everything and dictate the tempo of a game from start to finish, so he's a great player to have when you want to control of the game — I'd say that's one of his best traits.

"He has great vision, can find anyone with a pass and it is great to have him as a teammate.

"Obviously we are all looking forward to his, Sergio and Samir's return as soon as possible."
