Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is sweating over the fitness of Alexis Sanchez after the forward injured his calf on international duty for Chile last week.
The 26-year-old played the entirety of La Roja's 1-1 draw against Colombia on Thursday, but reported the problem after the 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Sanchez is therefore considered doubtful for the qualifying clash with Uruguay on Tuesday, although Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli will give his star player the chance to prove his fitness ahead of the fixture.
Wenger, though, will be hoping the former Barcelona ace is rested ahead of his side's trip to the Midlands on Saturday, where they face West Brom.
Sampaoli said: "Alexis has a pain in his calf and we will wait for him until the last minute to see if he is ready to play."
