Huddersfield Town take a break from their Premier League party to host Rotherham United in the League Cup on Wednesday.
The Terriers have made the perfect start to life in the Premier League with two wins in their opening couple of matches, following up a 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace with a 1-0 result against Newcastle United last weekend.
The Millers, meanwhile, have had a mixed bag of results in League One: they recently lost 2-1 to Peterborough United for the second defeat from their opening three games, but before that had trounced Southend United 5-0. For both teams, this will be a different type of game to their early league matchups.
Huddersfield beat Rotherham home and away in the Championship last season, with the former going on to earn promotion to the top flight while the latter were relegated to England’s third tier.
In team news, Huddersfield are without Jonathan Hogg and Nahki Wells, who both have ankle injuries, as well as defender Martin Cranie. Rotherham boss Paul Warne has a full squad to choose from.
