Barcelona are looking to spend some of their Neymar windfall on Real Sociedad defender Inigo Martinez, according to reports in Spain.
The 26-year-old centre-back has made just under 200 La Liga appearances for his boyhood club, along with four caps for Spain, and would be a dependable partner to Gerard Pique.
According to Marca, the transfer fee will be around €32m, with transfer talks going on through the weekend between Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu and his counterpart Jokin Aperribay.
Meanwhile, Barca’s interest in Borussia Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele will not come cheap, as BVB chief Hans-Joachim Watzke made clear after Saturday's Super Cup defeat to Bayern Munich.
"€100m for Dembele? That wouldn’t be enough," Watzke said, via Football-Espana.
"I remember Kevin de Bruyne (signing for Manchester City), it was the Bundesliga’s most expensive transfer, but the years since then have shown that it wasn’t the best as Wolfsburg lost a lot of quality."
