Sevilla have announced the signing of Danish defender Simon Kjaer on a four-year-deal from Fenerbahce.
The 28-year-old centre-back has experience across Europe’s many leagues including stints with Palermo, Wolfsburg, and Lille before his move to Turkey, where he has spent the past two seasons.
The Dane follows the signings of Spanish forwards Nolito and Jesus Navas from Manchester City, Colombian striker Luis Muriel from Sampdoria, and Argentinian midfielder Ever Banega from Inter Milan.
He posted on his official Twitter account: "Dear @Fenerbahce family. A new adventure begins. For always a place in my heart: Haydi #Fenerbahce!," before posting "Muy feliz! So happy so have signed today with @SevilllaFC!"
