Swansea City manager Paul Clement has revealed that they are still in talks regarding the sale of star playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Everton have reportedly had two bids for the Iceland international rejected, but Clement has admitted that negotiations are ongoing as the two parties look to reach an agreement.
"Talks are ongoing between our club and another club, in particular. But as we stand, he is still a Swansea City player," Clement said on Sky Sports News.
"It's possible he could be here, it's possible he could move. We don't know yet.
"This won't go until the end of the window, we won't allow that to happen. Business needs to be done, otherwise the player needs to stay here.
"We are not going to get into a situation where the player potentially goes, we have funds available, but there's no time to do any deals.
"We end up weaker and there's no way that's going to happen."
