Fancy signing video announcements have become all the rage on social media recently, but Sevilla’s effort for Jesus Navas perhaps goes a little too far!
First we had Aston Villa’s humorous Whatsapp chat to announce the signing of John Terry, then there was Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini playing as himself on FIFA.
Football clubs have really upped the ante when it comes to unveiling new signings on social media.
The Spanish club were obviously very happy to re-sign Navas from Manchester City, but the signing video was perhaps a bit too dramatic for some people’s tastes.

But what do you think? Is it too much?
The clip posted on social media, shows an anonymous player walking down the street when he is approached from the back and bundled into the back of a car before being taken to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium where all is revealed.
Some might say that like Navas did too often during his time at the Etihad, the video really misses the mark.
