Ronaldo makes Singapore stop-off

Cristiano Ronaldo landed in Singapore on Friday to visit local billionaire and long-time friend Peter Lim.

The Portuguese star has been left out of Real Madrid’s pre-season tour to the USA after being given extra time off for his international commitments during the summer.

Ronaldo has used his holiday to visit the Far East, with the striker dropping off at Thomson Medical Centre to visit Lim and his daughter Kim, who gave birth to a baby boy earlier this week.

Lim’s company Mint Media administers Ronaldo’s image rights, while the businessman is also the owner of Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia.

It will only be a short stop in Singapore for the 32-year-old though.

Ronaldo will pen an endorsement deal, before heading off to a Mint Media event in China over the weekend.
