FC Bayern München have opted to loan out winger Serge Gnabry to Bundesliga rivals TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for the upcoming season.
The Germany U21 international signed a three-year deal with Die Roten from Werder Bremen in June, in a transfer reportedly worth around €8million.
However, the former Arsenal youngster is set to spend the first year of his Bayern career at Hoffenheim where he is hoping to pick up valuable playing experience.

“It was the explicit request from Serge to be loaned out for a year so he could get more experience,” said Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in a club statement, according to Four Four Two.
“From my perspective, that will be guaranteed to be at a high level at Hoffenheim.”
