Clement: No bids for Sigurdsson yet

Swansea City manager Paul Clement says he has not yet seen any bids for midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, who the club values at £50m.

The Iceland international was the Welsh side's Player of the Year for the second campaign in a row in a season where the Swans dodged relegation, prompting links with a number of teams including Everton and Leicester City.

"I know there is a lot of speculation and clubs that are strongly interested in him, but there's nothing more than that at the moment," Clement said after the pre-season defeat to Barnet.

"We have not rejected anything and Gylfi has not come to us and said 'I want to leave'.

"We are not sure whether he is going to be here for this season. If another club comes up with the right valuation, according to us, then it would be a different matter possibly."
