Manchester United confirmed that 21-year-old Portuguese goalkeeper, Joel Pereira, has signed a new four-year deal with the club.
The contract includes an option for an extra year upon completion and extends Pereira's United career, which began in July 2012. The young star hit the heights back in May when he made his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace.

Red DEvils manager Jose Mourinho believes the keeper could have a bright future at Old Trafford and in international football.
"Joel progressed really well during the course of the last season through hard work and commitment every day in training,” Mourinho said.
"I know I have said this before but I really do believe, if he continues his development and continues to work hard, he really can become the best Portuguese goalkeeper of the next generation."
Pereira, a former Portugal youth international, has previously spent loan spells at League One Rochdale as well as Belenenses in the Primeira Liga.
