With links to Manchester City growing and FC Bayern München’s interest reportedly waning, Alexis Sanchez admits that his mind is made up over whether he will remain at Arsenal.
The Gunners hitman, currently representing Chile in the Confederations Cup, says that he has made a decision on his future and implied that it will be revealed after the tournament.
"Right now I'm focused on the Confederations Cup. When this is finished I will see if I stay or go," he stated in a press conference ahead of the tournament's final on Monday.
However, when reporters pressed him on the matter, the 28-year old admitted: "Yes [my future] is clear, but I can't tell you."
The striker went on to express his confidence in his side's chances of overcoming the Germans to win their third major trophy in as many years.
"My individualism can sometimes play against me, but I know I need my team-mates and they need me," he said. "We are here to make history, we have beaten Spain, Argentina … we can beat anyone."
On Friday, Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness appeared to admit that their pursuit of the highly-rated striker is over, implying that the player's asking price was disproportionate to his age.
"You can't build a new team with €100 million transfers for 29 and 30-year-olds," Hoeness told Kicker.
"That isn't a policy. Either we go down this road with all these young players, all getting a chance to play, or we don't go down this road."
