Eintracht Frankfurt are close to completing the signing of Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada.
The 20-year-old joins the Bundesliga side from J-League team Sagan Tosu on a four-year deal.
Of the transfer, Sagan coach Massimo Ficcadenti said: "It's important that a European club with such a rich history think so highly of him. I hope he takes this opportunity to develop."
According to reports, Kamada still needs to undergo a medical before the move is finalised.
Eintracht board member Fredi Bobic explained: "We have agreed terms with the club as well as the player; and we hope to confirm the transfers within the next days."
Frankfurt have a rich history of signing Japanese players including Naohiro Takahara, Junichi Inamoto, Takashi Inui and Makoto Hasebe.
