Sebastien Corchia says he would be interested in a move to Sevilla as he awaits to hear if he has a future at Lille.
The 26-year-old French right-back, who has previously played for Le Mans and Sochaux, had one year remaining on his current Ligue 1 deal.
While he would be open to extending his stay with Marcelo Bielsa's team, Corchia is excited about the potential to play in La Liga, with Sevilla reportedly keen on his services.
He told Goal: "Sevilla is a big and very interesting club. And La Liga is an amazing league, but I don’t know anything. Only my agents know, what is happening right now.
“My focus is on my football, and now I am back after my holiday and training with Lille, where I still have one year left on the contract.
“I have met our new coach Marcelo Bielsa, and the new Lille project under him looks very exciting for the club, so nothing is decided yet.
“I don’t know yet, whether I am leaving or staying. And I have never said that I only want to leave this club, so now I must wait and see, what will happen.”
He added: "I can confirm, that I have heard of interest from countries like England, Italy and Spain – but I don’t know much about it.
“It is always flattering to hear about other big clubs connected with your name, but to be honest, I don’t pay much attention to all the stories. My job is to play football, and then my agent will take care of any interest.”
Arsenal, Roma, Napoli and Torino have all previously been linked with a move for Corchia.
