Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez has ruled out a transfer, but defender Theo Hernandez is set for a switch to Real Madrid.
Saul has been linked with Barcelona as a secondary target should their move for PSG’s Marco Verratti fail, but the 22-year-old is eager to stay at the club he joined at the age of 14.
"I have no intention of moving,” Saul said, quoted by AS, after his hattrick heroics for Spain U21 against Italy.
"I'm where I want to be and things are going to remain the same. They have put their trust in me since I was young, and I want to repay that confidence."
Meanwhile, Atleti’s 19-year-old left-back Theo is set to move across the capital to Real Madrid once his €26m release clause is activated.
"I'm excited, thrilled to play alongside the best players in the world," Theo said, quoted by Marca. "It is a dream come true ever since I was a little boy."
The France youth international, who could switch his allegiance to Spain, spent last season on loan at Alaves, making 32 La Liga appearances.
