Paris Saint-German striker Edinson Cavani has hailed his understanding with team-mate Javier Pastore and believes they work well together.
Cavani banged in 49 goals in 50 appearances this past season and many of his strikes over the years have come from superb passes from Pastore, who operates in more of an attacking midfield role.
"I know 'Flaco' very well. We played together at Palermo and we've now been playing together for four seasons in Paris. We know each other by heart on the pitch," the Uruguay international told his club's official website.
"He has got to know me, to anticipate my runs, and from my side, I know that he's going to give me some great passes.
"The goal against Marseille sums up our understanding on the pitch. I knew he would pass the ball to me first time, everything was nicely synchronised on that goal. It was a very good team move."
The Argentina international did miss a large part of the campaign with injuries although he was still able to contribute four assists for Unai Emery's side.
