Feyenoord have launched an offer to bring Fiorentina right-back Kevin Diks on loan as a direct replacement for Rick Karsdorp.
According to reports in Italian media, Karsdorp looks set to leve the Eredivisie Champions this week with AS Roma and Internazionale both in for the services of the Netherlands international.
However, de Stadionclub will act fast in the market by securing Diks for the right-back role, with the 20-year-old failing to secure a regular starting berth in the Serie A since his €2.8 million transfer in 2016.
The former Vitesse defender spent six months of this year back in the Dutch top-flight with Vitas and holds the required experience for manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst – with 63 league games under his belt.
Academy graduate Bart Nieuwkoop will be his likely competitor for the right-back spot next season at De Kuip as they look to defend their title and compete in the UEFA Champions League.
