Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola admits he is raring to get going in the new Premier League season and mount a real title challenge.
The Citizens have moved quickly in the transfer market adding midfielder Bernardo Silva and goalkeeper Ederson to their ranks, but are looking to strengthen further, with Juventus full-back Dani Alves reportedly set for a move to the Etihad Stadium.
When asked about their transfer dealings thus far, Guardiola told the press, according to the Manchester Evening News: "I'm happy and the club have made a good effort.
"We will be better, like everyone will be better. We will be better next season.
“During eleven months together it is a process, you can enjoy it, new games new actions – the opponents always play well.
“Sometimes we get beat but the beautiful thing is the process. I was so happy last season in Manchester being there, it’s why I can’t wait for July 10 and to start again.”
