Former Ajax manager Frank de Boer is looking forward to possibly taking over as new Crystal Palace boss, according to his brother Ronald.
De Boer has been without a club since November last year when he lost his Inter Milan job after only 14 games in charge, but now seems likely to take over at the Eagles.
“Hopefully, they round things up soon. Frank is very excited, of course," twin brother Ronald told the press according to the Evening Standard.
“It’s the biggest league – everybody knows it, everybody’s watching the Premier League.
“You can really do something if you have the chance, because there is money involved and you can buy players. It’s an interesting league to see what you’re capable of as a manager.
“I know they are talking and I think it’s just about little terms with the coaching staff, etc. I don’t see any problem but, of course, it’s not for me to say if it’s a done deal or not.”
As a manager, the former Netherlands international is best known for his spell at Ajax where he won four consecutive Eredivisie titles between 2011 and 2014.
