Zimbabwe international midfielder Marvelous Nakamba has completed a lucrative move to ambitious Belgian side Club Brugge.
The tireless midfielder has signed a four-year-deal with the Belgian Pro League side who finished in second place last season and qualified for the UEFA Champions League.
After strong links with Internazionale, Everton, Fenerbahce and another Belgian outfit, Anderlecht – the reported €3million deal has proved to be a major coup for Ivan Leko's side.
"Club reached today a principle agreement with Vitesse Arnhem and Marvellous Nakamba about the immediate transfer of the defensive midfielder," read a statement on the club's website.
"Nakamba is an energetic defensive midfielder with quality passing and impressive power in duels."
The former Nancy midfielder featured 77 times for Vitas in three years, while playing an integral part in their maiden KNVB Beker success last season.
